Welcome to the “Best Spring in the world”Scenic Area of Jinan！

Jinan “Best Spring in the world” Scenic Area is composed of

“one river-the moat;

one lake-Daming Lake;

three Springs including Baotu spring, Black Tiger Spring and Five-dragon Pond Spring;

four Parks including Baotu Spring Park, the city Ring Park, Five-Dragon Pond park and Daming Lake Scenic Spot.”

天下第一泉景區(qū)由一河（護城河）一湖（大明湖）三泉（趵突泉、黑虎泉、五龍?zhí)度笕海┧膱@（趵突泉公園、環(huán)城公園、五龍?zhí)豆珗@、大明湖風(fēng)景區(qū)）組成。

The whole Scenic Area covers a total area of 3.1(three point one) square kilometers,

By integrating the unique natural landscape

and rich historical and cultural heritage.

it is a national 5A Scenic spot

and also an embodiment of humanities landscape of Jinan,

The most famous three spring groups of Baotu spring,

Black Tiger spring and Five-dragon Pond spring are all located in side the Scenic Spot.

2. the Baotu spring park趵突泉公園概況

now we arrive at the Baotu Spring Park.

The park is located in the bustling downtown area of Jinan,

to the north of Daming Lake,

and to the east of Quancheng square,

It is a famous cultural Park themed on springs and landscaps.

and one of the first key National Park.

女士們、先生們，現(xiàn)在我們來到的是趵突泉公園，位于濟南市中心的繁華地段，大明湖以北，東與泉城廣場連接，趵突泉公園是以泉水為景觀為主的文化公園，也是首批重點國家公園之一。

Baotu Spring ranking top of the 72 (seventy-two) famous spring in Jinan,

Is Known as the “Best Spring in the world”,

and also is the earliest famous spring in Jinan mentioned in ancient literature.

趵突泉位居濟南七十二名泉之首。被譽為“天下第一泉”，也是最早見于古代文獻的濟南名泉。

Zeng Gong,

one of the Eight Great Prose Masters of the Tang and Song Dynasties,

named this spring as “Baotu Spring”.

“Baotu”literally means“jump and rush”.

reflecting the features of endless bursting.

唐宋八大家的曾鞏為其定名為“趵突泉”。所謂“趵突”字面意思是“跳躍奔突”之意。反映了無止境迸發(fā)的特點，趵突泉三股水噴涌不息的特點。

3.the Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall李清照紀念堂

now we arrive at the Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall.

Li Qingzhao was born in Jinan during the Song Dynasty,

As an outstanding female writer in ancient China.

She enjoys a renowned reputation both at home and abroad.

女士們、先生們，現(xiàn)在我們來到的是李清照紀念堂。李清照生于濟南，是我國著名的女詞人。他在國內(nèi)外享有盛譽。

The Memorial hall is profound in history

and culture It is unique from its architecture to scenery in detail.

紀念堂富含歷史與文化底蘊，從建筑到景致都獨一無二。

漱玉泉

Ladies and gentlemen,

the plaque of“Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall”,

and the column couplet which reads

“Near Daming Lake and Baotu her old house is among the weeping willows;

among the bubbling water and the book Records of Jinshi，her literary grace has the traces of the previous poets”.

Were written by Mr.Guo Moruo.

女士們、先生們，李清照紀念館牌匾：大明湖畔趵突泉邊故居在垂楊深處；漱玉集中金石錄里文采有后主遺風(fēng)。是郭沫若先生題寫的。

The Shuyu Hall in the south courtyard exhibits the white marble statue of Li Qingzhao.

漱玉堂正中有李清照一個漢白玉雕像。

Li Qingzhao the famous poetess.

now we are in front of the Baotu Spring.

The best place for wstching Baotu Spring and taking pictures is the Guanlan Pavilion to the west of the Spring pool.

女士們，先生們，現(xiàn)在我們看到的就是趵突泉了。觀泉和拍照的最佳場地就是泉池西側(cè)的觀瀾亭了。

The original Pavilion was founded in Northern song Dynasty,

with more than 500(five hundred) years of history.

“Guanlan”is taken from the saying

“There are many methods for viewing water,

we must view its magnificent waves”.

觀瀾亭最早見于北宋，已有500多年的歷史。得名于“觀水有術(shù)，必觀其瀾”。

Acouplet at both sides reads that

“Three-feet high water springs from the ground just like the snow,

and the loud sound is like the lighting in the air all the year round”;

and this was written by a famous playwright Zhang Yanghao in Jinan of Yuan Dynasty

and was inscribed by Wu Zhongqi a famous calligrapher.

To the north of Baotu Spring are three halls.named Luoyuan Hall,E ying Hall and Sansheng hall.

趵突泉北面是三大殿，分別為濼源堂、娥英祠和三圣殿。

5.the Ten Thousand Bamboo Garden萬竹園

Ladies and gentlemen,

now we arrive at the Ten Thousand Bamboo Garden.

This Garden was built in the Yuan Dynasty.

Itis famous for the bamboos.

女士們，先生們，現(xiàn)在我們來到的是萬竹園。萬竹園建于元朝，它以竹子而聞名。

The front east and west courtyards are located in a triangle

and the garden is located in the west.

In the architectural layout,

it adopts such methods as view-contrast and view-borrowing

and separates the space into sections by walls.

The beautifully lifelike stone sculptures

are the“Three Beauties ”

前、東、西三院呈三角形，花園位于西面。在建筑布局中，采用借景等方式，以墻分隔空間，走廊、小溪和橋梁，形成之字形走廊，連接不同的庭院。

The new east gate of this Scenic area uses antique architectural forms.

Afterits completion,

thesymbolic sculptures of the five dragons have been moved to this place from the southeast corner.

The Five Dragon pool is one of the four best-known Spring group in Jinan.

這五龍?zhí)妒菨献钪乃膫€泉群之一。

The Five Dragon Pool dates back to more than 1500(one thousand and five hundred)years ago.

五龍?zhí)兜臍v史可以追溯到1500多年前，古往今來都有記錄。

The Five Dragon Pool 9(nine) meters deep,

is the deepest pool among all Springs in Jinan,

Thus,

it is called Five Dragon Pool rather than Five Dragon Spring.

大明湖水源充足，水位穩(wěn)定。

The earliest written description of Daming Lake is found

in the “commentary on the water classic”

by Li Daoyuan of the Northern Wei Dynasty.

大明湖最早的文字描述見于北魏酈道元的《水經(jīng)注》。

“Lotus at four sides and willow at three sides.

One city of hill Scenery and the lake covering half of the city”.

Is the best portrayal of the Daming Lake scenery.

在繁華的城市里一處難得的天然湖泊，也是泉城重要風(fēng)景區(qū)名勝，素有“泉城明珠”的美譽。

8.Lixia Pavilion歷下亭

now we arrive at the well-known Lixia Pavilion.

女士們、先生們，現(xiàn)在我們來到的是歷下亭。

Place pay attention to the couplets here written by Dufu，

the great poet of Tang Dynasty.

1300（one thousand and three hundred）years ago,

LiYong,

the governor of Beihai treated Dufu

and some renowned scholars in Jinan.

Du fu wrote the poem“Banqueting in Lixia Pavilion with Li Beihai”The most famous two lines are

“Lixia Pavilion is the oldest Pavilion in Jinan which is on the right of the sea,

Jinan iswell-Known forcountless celebrities”.

Lixia Pavilion has enjoyed a widespread reputation sincethen,

and has become the pride of Jinan city.

請注意這里有副對聯(lián)。1300年前，李邕，北海總督在濟南接待了杜甫和一些著名學(xué)者，最著名的兩句是“海右此亭古，濟南名士多”。從那時起，歷下亭享有廣泛的聲譽，成為濟南的驕傲。

9. the Memorial of Lord Tie鐵公祠

Ladies and gentlemen,

now we arrive the Memorial of Lord Tie.

It was built to memorize Tie Xuan，

the Minister of the Board of War of the Ming Dynasty,

In the battle for throne between the current empleror Jinan wen and the later emperor Yongle.

Tie Xuan was punished by death since he would rather die than yield to the emplerorYongle.

The“Memorial of Lord Tie”plaque was inscribed by Weng Fanggang.

And there is another column couplet written by Yan Zhenglang of the Qing Dynasty.

and inscribed by the contemporary calligrapher Zhu Xueda.

女士們，先生們，現(xiàn)在我們來到的是鐵公祠。他是為了紀念鐵鉉而建的,明朝兵部尚書。在建文皇帝和后來的永樂皇帝之間的王位爭奪戰(zhàn)中，鐵鉉死也不向永樂皇帝屈服，因此被處以死刑。“鐵公祠紀念碑”由翁方剛題寫。還有一副是清代嚴正烺的對聯(lián)。當代書法家朱學(xué)達書寫。

滄浪亭

To the west of the Memorial of Lord Tie is the small Canglang Pavilion.

First built in the Qing Dynasty.

it followed the style of Canglang Pavilion in Suzhou.

鐵公祠紀念館的西面是小滄浪亭。始建于清朝它仿效了蘇州滄浪亭的風(fēng)格。

10.Beiji Temple北極閣

Ladies and gentlemen,

now we arrive at the Beiji Temple,

also Known as Zhenwu Temple.

It is the largest Taoism temple in Jinan.

女士們，先生們，現(xiàn)在我們來到的北極閣，又稱真武廟。是濟南最大的道教廟宇。

The golden statue of Northern Zhenwu Emperor holding swordis in the middle of the main hall,

He was in charge of water.

Fire and water warriors,

as well as four heaven warrors a placed at the left and rightside.

The copper statue of integrated turtle and snake is placed onthe desk of the main hall.

According to the legend,

they are the warriors of ZhenWu Emple.

The rear Hall is called Qisheng Hall,where the statues of Zhen Wu’s parents are placed.

女士們、先生們，真武大帝手持金劍在正殿正中，它雄偉而莊嚴。左右兩旁有水火二將，左右兩側(cè)四君像，它們栩栩如生，大殿書桌上擺放著鬼蛇一體的銅像。根據(jù)傳說，他們是真武大帝手下龜蛇二將。

后殿名啟圣殿，供奉著真武父母的塑像。

11. Nanfeng Temple南豐祠

Ladies and gentlemen,

now we arrive at the Nanfeng Memorial Hal.

It is used to commemorate Zeng Gong,

traditionally called as Mr.Nanfeng.

He is one of the Eight Great Preat ProseMesters of the Tang and Song Dynasty.

He was once appointed as the magistrate ofJinan City,

and was extremely loved by people for hiskind deeds.

There is a wooden statue of Zeng Gong in thehall.

With the height of 2(two) meters.

Just as a schlar-official in ancient times,

He looks elegant.

女士們，先生們，現(xiàn)在我們來到的是南豐祠。傳統(tǒng)上稱為南豐先生。他是唐宋八大家之一。曾任濟南地方官。他的善行深受人們愛戴。大廳里有一尊曾鞏的木雕像。高度為2米。就像古代的士大夫一樣。他看起來很優(yōu)雅。

12. Chaoran Tower超然樓

now we arrive at theChaoran Tower.

Chaoran Tower was built in Yuan Dynasty,

Now it is rebuilt with reinforced concrete wood-like structure,Known as the“First building in North China”.

The building group consists of chaoran Tower,

Boyi Hall and Hesheng study.

There are seven exhibition halls on the first floor ofChaoran Tower.

After entering the hall on the second floor.

you walk into a wood carving world.

On the sixth floor of Chaoran Tower.

you will have a panoramic view

of the beautiful scenery

of Spring city and Daming Lake.

女士們，先生們，現(xiàn)在我們來到的是超然樓。初建于元代。重建的超然樓為鋼筋混凝土結(jié)構(gòu)，被稱為“江北第一樓”。整個古建筑群由超然樓、博藝堂、賀勝齋組成。超然樓一層共分為七個展廳。進入二樓大廳后，你進入了木雕的世界。在超然大廈六樓，泉城和大明湖的美景盡收眼底。

13. City Ring Park環(huán)城公園

the Moat where we are now standing by hasbeen existing for 1500(one thousand and five hundred)years.

it is also the only moat river formed by springwater in China.

With a whole length of 6.9（Sixpoint nine）Kilometers.

the moat is located in the downtown of Jinan,

It is Surrounded by the famous scenic attractions,

numerous springs,

and beautiful scenery.

It consists of “One Moat,Daming Lake,and Mingfu city” .

It is profound in history and culture

and is like a jadebelt around the old ]city of Jinan.
